Aldgate Safer Paths

Between 2019 and 2021, there were 357 VAWG (Violence Against Women and Girls) offences in public spaces in London Borough of Tower Hamlets.

YouGov data shows that women overwhelmingly feel not enough is being done to ensure their safety.

This isn’t just data. It’s a crisis.

Every woman deserves safer paths, whether it’s to work, on the tube, or on the way home from a night out.

I helped Aldgate Connect create a targeted awareness campaign.to encourage businesses to take greater responsibility in making public spaces safer.

By contributing to the development of the core concept and messaging, I played a role in deploying impactful leaflets, posters, digital advertisements, and animated content throughout the City and in Tower Hamlets.

Together, we can create a city where women can walk freely without fear.
